Description
The Foundation of Every Effective Electric Fence Galvanized Ground Rod, 6′ x 5/8″
An electric fence is only as good as its grounding system. The 6′ x 5/8″ Galvanized Ground Rod is the standard ground rod for electric fence installations driven into the earth to complete the circuit that makes your fence effective. Without adequate grounding, even the most powerful energizer can’t deliver a proper shock, and your fence fails to contain livestock.
Powerflex recommends installing one ground rod per joule of energizer output as a baseline, with additional rods for lightning protection. For your lightning ground field, install at least four ground rods. Galvanized construction resists corrosion for long-term performance in the ground.
