These specialised minispools deliver the fundamental benefits of the Capetown series with easy splicing combined with exceptional durability whilst eliminating waste through precisely sized reels for specific applications.

Available in three configurations designed for optimal project compatibility, Capetown Minispools include the FL-400 variant in 1.7mm diameter with 60-metre length providing 400 daN breaking load, whilst the FL-500 and FL-610 options offer 1.8mm and 2.2mm diameters respectively in convenient 30-metre lengths with breaking loads of 500 and 610 daN. This range accommodates diverse rigging requirements from fine control applications to substantial load-bearing uses.

The advanced 12-braid construction utilising Dyneema SK78 fibres delivers exceptional strength-to-weight characteristics whilst maintaining the splicing accessibility that makes these ropes ideal for sailors developing their rigging skills. The high durability inherent in Dyneema SK78 construction ensures long-term performance despite the rope’s position as the basic series within advanced rope technology.

The convenient minispool format provides ideal quantities for control line replacements, halyard modifications, and rigging upgrades without the expense and storage requirements of full-length purchases. This practical approach makes Capetown Minispools the perfect choice for sailors seeking to experience high-performance rope benefits through manageable projects whilst building confidence with advanced materials and splicing techniques.
