Description
Araldite epoxy is a slow-setting, all-purpose industrial 2-part structural adhesive engineered for high-strength structural bonding. With a long working time and excellent material compatibility, the Araldite epoxy is ideal for professionals who need precision, durability, and reliable performance across a wide range of substrates.
Araldite 2011 is also known by it’s bulk resin names, Araldite AW106 Resin (part A) & Araldite HV953U hardener (part B).The Bulk Pail version of Araldite 2011 is:
| Araldite Cartridge Packaging | Araldite Bulk Resin | Araldite Bulk Hardner |
| Araldite 2011 | AW 106 | HV 953U |
Araldite 2011 epoxy adhesive is a low-viscosity, slow-curing structural epoxy designed for demanding industrial and professional applications. With a working life of up to 120 minutes, it allows ample time for alignment, assembly, and complex bonding operations while delivering exceptional shear and peel strength once cured.
This Araldite epoxy reliably bonds to metals, ceramics, glass, composites, rubber, concrete, wood, and various types of plastics. It cures at room temperature or at elevated temperatures, offers strong electrical insulation, and produces a durable, translucent, pale-yellow bond line. Lastly, Araldite 2011 is also known in bulk as Araldite AW106 resin paired with HV953U hardener, offering the same proven performance across cartridge and bulk packaging.
Please Note: These cartridges are designed to work best with a 50ml or 200ml cartridge Dispenser, respectively. We advise you use a 50ml or 200ml Dispenser for all respective cartridges. If you do not have one, please check out our Dispensers, all are excellent products and have our ‘it’s good’ seal of approval.
If you prefer not to use a Dispenser, all 50ml cartridge orders we sell will come with one manual hand plunger, as pictured, that you can use for fast small jobs. But the 200ml cartridges really need to use a 200ml Dispenser, they’re just too big to easily use without the dispenser.

Teflon Bonding Using Araldite 2011 as the adhesive has proven successful when the proper procedures are followed.
Surface Preparation: Virgin PTFE is white in color and will not readily bond unless chemically etched with etchants such as Tetra Etch. Bonding other materials to teflon will also require proper surface preparation.
Adhesive Application: Araldite 2011, aka, Araldite AW106 resin and HV 953U hardener has been proved to work well. The adhesive should be applied both to both surfaces and be spread as uniformly as possible by means of a serrated spatula.
Curing: Application of even, light clamping pressure while adhesive is recommended.
Clean-up: Squeeze out adhesive, not cleaned prior to hardening can be accomplished using traditional machining or sanding methods.
