BT-246 is a performance grade thin bonding tape featuring high initial tack and strong adhesion to low surface energy (LSE) substrates.
Low Surface Energy Plastics are a special class of plastic famous for their difficult-to-bond surfaces. They are notoriously difficult to stick.
This tape is optimized for these LSE materials: Polyethylenes, PE, HDPE, LDPE, UHMW, MDPE, Polypropylenes, PP, PPCO, PPHO, COPP, HOPP, Polyolefins, LSE’s, and Hard to Bond Plastics), Nylons, etc.
Designed to withstand challenging conditions, BT-246 offers exceptional temperature resistance and is also resistant against solvents, humidity, and UV exposure.
