Bronze Stemball & Swage

Description

Bronze Stemball & Swage represents specialised rigging hardware engineering, combining the proven Sta-Lok Forged Turnbuckle design with unique stemball articulation for applications requiring both permanent wire termination and multi-directional movement capability. This sophisticated assembly features a precision Threaded Stemball (186) at one termination and a Swage Stud (051) at the other, providing the ideal solution for rigging systems demanding angular flexibility combined with permanent wire rope connection.

Available across comprehensive wire sizes from 3mm to 12mm (metric) and 1/8″ to 1/2″ (imperial) with corresponding UNF thread specifications, this turnbuckle accommodates diverse rigging requirements where angular movement is essential. The fully open dimensions range from 235mm to 512mm with closed dimensions from 159mm to 348mm, ensuring optimal adjustment capabilities whilst maintaining the stemball articulation necessary for complex rigging geometries.

The advanced Sta-Lok Forged Turnbuckle design exceeds the breaking load of today’s high-strength compacted strand wire ropes through superior forging and machining processes utilising high-strength bronze alloy construction. The aerodynamic design philosophy creates one of the strongest and most elegant bronze turnbuckles available on the world market today, optimising strength-to-weight ratios whilst accommodating the complex load vectors associated with articulating connections.

The precision Threaded Stemball termination provides multi-directional articulation essential for applications such as spreader ends, deck cups, coquillesrunning, and complex rigging systems where load direction varies. The stemball design accommodates angular movement whilst maintaining structural integrity, with optional Stemball Cups (042C) available for complete installation systems. The precision Swage Stud ensures permanent, high-strength wire attachment through professional swaging processes.
