Loctite MR 2000 is **NOT an epoxy**. It behaves more like a ceramic clay or cement. It is more brittle compared to epoxy and has lower shear strength (675 psi vs 3000+ psi for epoxy), so it should not be used for structural bonds that bear weight. However, for filling a crack in a glowing red-hot exhaust manifold, no epoxy in the world will survivebut MR 2000 will.
