Description
5 1/2 blade of 1/4 stock. The top cutting edge is sharpened. A straight oblong hilt of 1/4 brass. Approximately 4 1/2 durable Black or Green Micarta finger grip handle (please specify). Extra-heavy 7/8 wide tang extends through a channel in the handle, which is firmly fastened with epoxy. Wrist thong through brass ferrule in the handle.
This knife was designed to meet the demand for an almost indestructible all-purpose knife. Designed especially for aircrew survival and combat purposes in cooperation with U.S. Marine Corps Equipment Board.
Name etching, stainless blade, saw teeth, forward curved hilt, and nickel silver hilt are available at additional charge. Single finger grip and Border Patrol handle shapes available at additional charge. Construction same as Model 14 except shorter blade length and 1/8″ more narrow. Standard with Black Micarta Finger Grip handle. (wt. 10 oz.) Supplied with Model C sheath.
