Description
Application
The Pro-FlexTM Male Fitting provides a transition between Pro-Flex tubing[Pro-Flex yellow CSST or FlakJacket Arc-Resistant CSST] and other pipingsystem components [rigid pipe, valves, manifolds, etc. All Pro-Flex MaleFittings have outer threads [MIP] that are the same size as the nominalpipe size and are also tapped inside to the next smaller female [FIP]thread. Example: Pro-flex 1/2 Male Fittings are 1/2 Pro-Flex x 1/2 MIP and are also tappedto 3/8 FIP.
Installation
Product installation and system testing shall be completed by aqualified installer in accordance with NFPA 54/ANSI Z223.1(National Fuel Gas Code), National Gas & Propane Installation CodeB149.1 (Canada), state/local codes and the Pro-Flex Installation/Training Guide.
