Description
Henkel Syntho-Plug Hull & Hole Damage Repair Kits
Syntho-Plug is a critical damage control device designed to instantly stop leaks in boat hulls, fuel tanks, and industrial drums. Available in “Golf Ball” (1.5″ OD) and “Football” (3.5″ x 6″) profiles, these plugs consist of a pliable, open-cell polyurethane foam impregnated with a water-activated resin. Unlike rigid wooden plugs that only fit perfectly round holes, the Syntho-Plug starts soft, allowing it to be compressed and stuffed into irregular, jagged, or oval-shaped breaches ranging from 5/16″ to 2″ in diameter. Once inserted, contact with water triggers a chemical reaction that cures rock-hard in minutes, reducing flow to under 1 GPM and creating a durable mechanical seal until permanent repairs can be made.
